TWO men have been found guilty of murdering a Hell’s Angel biker who was gunned down on a motorway.

Gerry Tobin, of Mottingham Road, Mottingham, was shot dead as he rode his motorbike along the M40 in Warwickshire on August 12 last year.

The 35-year-old mechanic, who worked at Warr’s Harley-Davidson shop, also in Mottingham Road, was travelling with two other motorcyclists after leaving the Bulldog Bash, a four-day festival at Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Simon Turner, aged 41, and Dane Garside, aged 42, who were members of rival biker gang The Outlaws, had both denied murder and firearms charges.

Sean Creighton, aged 44, from Coventry, had already admitted murder and two firearms charges.

The jury is yet to return a verdict on four other men charged with the murder.

Birmingham Crown Court had previously heard Mr Tobin was shot dead from a moving car as it sped along the M40 at up to 90mph near Warwick Services.
