MARK Hudson and Jose Semedo will be available for selection for Saturday’s match against Burnley after they serve one-match bans tonight when Charlton take on Bristol City.

The duo were both sent off against Cardiff City last weekend, the first time the Addicks had had two players sent off in one match since February 1997.

CHARLTON last week assumed a new ambassadorial role to try and make a greater London.

The Addicks are the only football club to be involved in the London Leaders programme, which will see the club work to address and improve the capital’s image.

Charlton chief executive Steve Waggott said: “Our slogan concerning our social responsibility work has always been “More than a football club”, and we take our iconic position within the community seriously, so this is great news.”

A series of events will take place around the game, including a performance by a Brazilian samba band.

CHINA captain Zheng Zhi will be sidelined until around Christmas following a foot operation last week.

The midfielder has played just two matches this season.

However, striker Izale McLeod returned to action as the reserves lost 3-2 to Gillingham at Stonebridge Road on October 13, scoring after entering the pitch for the final 27 minutes.

It was his first game since a knee injury in early March.

BOOKINGS are still being taken for Charlton’s football courses during the October half-term holiday.

Twenty-three courses are scheduled from next Monday, taking place across Greenwich, Bexley and Kent.

Manager Alan Pardew last week said Arter could go out on loan in the near future as he bids to recover full fitness.
