A man has been taken to hospital after a shooting in west London.
The incident happened at a residential block in Lancaster Road just before 9.40pm yesterday (October 9).
Police, London Ambulance Service crews and an air ambulance attended and found a man who had been shot in the leg.
He has been taken to hospital where his condition was assessed not life-threatening or life changing.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 21:38hrs on Wednesday, 9 October, to reports of gunshots heard in Lancaster Road.
“Officers responded with LAS and London's Air Ambulance.
“A man was found in a residential block with a gunshot injury to his leg.
“He has been taken to hospital, his condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.
“At this early stage there have been no arrests.
“Urgent enquiries are ongoing.
