When you think of a picturesque city, you might think of the sunny land of Sydney in Australia or the towering blocks of New York City in the USA.
But, in the competition of where in the world is the most picturesque, neither of those spots came near to the crown.
In a surprise twist, it was actually London that won the title of the most picturesque city in the world.
Adding another accolade to the many it already holds, London was picked out and crowned by Printful, a print-on-demand company.

London named the most picturesque city in the world
Printful worked out what made a city picturesque by looking through Instagram hashtag data to discover the top 10 most picturesque cities in the world.
When you think of London and picturesque, you might not think the two go together, but with the region's mix of historical and modern buildings, green spaces, flowing water and more, it makes sense London got the crown.
The study discovered that London has more than 166 million Instagram hashtags, all capturing the beauty of the capital city.
London's skyline is amongst the most picturesque, mixing a sea of green trees with glass skyscrapers and landmarks like the London Eye to the BT Tower.
Closer to the ground, London offers views of historical bridges like Tower Bridge with its impressive design and the more modern and twisted Millenium Bridge.

In terms of what London was up against for the crown, it had to face seven cities in the USA, one in Argentina and another fellow British city.
The only other British city to make the list was Manchester, which places ninth between Seattle and Nashville.
Just losing out on the top prize was Chicago which got the second spot and Las Vegas in fourth.
