An alleged robber from Erith has denied running over and killing a man with his own car.
Errol Woodger, 37, was allegedly challenged by Marc Allen as he attempted to steal his Mercedes GLA.
The defendant is accused of responding by running the 51-year-old over in the driveway of his home in Peareswood Road, Erith, Kent, on December 19 2019.
Mr Allen was thrown over the car and died in hospital from head injuries a month later.
On Monday, Woodger appeared at the Old Bailey by video-link from Thameside Prison.
He pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mr Allen and robbing him of his Mercedes.
The defendant, of Mottisfont Road, Abbey Wood, south-east London, was remanded into custody ahead of his trial on March 24 next year.
Judge Rebecca Trowler KC set a further case management hearing for December 13 before the four-week trial.
