Two men from Bexley have appeared in court charged with manslaughter after a man died in Erith after being struck by a bus.
Mark Pearce, 40, of Lower Road and Markie Collins, 18, of Galleon Close have been charged with the manslaughter of Amamudin Alikhel, otherwise known as Ali Khan.
Emergency services were called to West Road in Erith on August 28, 2023 at around 10:25pm where a man had been injured after being struck by a bus.
Officers from Metropolitan Police attended along with officers from London Ambulance Service.
Ali Khan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force opened an investigation after it “became apparent” that an altercation had took place prior to Ali being struck by the bus.
Pearce and Collins both appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on September 18 and were bailed to appear at the Old Bailey on October 16.
