A person has died after an incident near Gravesend train station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported between Dartford and Strood at 9.20am today (September 2).
Officers and ambulance crews attended and the person was pronounced dead shortly after.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
A major disruption was declared on all lines near Dartford and Gravesend as the incident was dealt with.
However, all services have since returned back to normal.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line near Gravesend railway station at 9.29am today (2 September) to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
