Firefighters have saved six adorable ducklings that had fallen into a storm drain and reunited them with their mum following the rescue in Biggin Hill.
A concerned passerby called the Fire Brigade after seeing the ducklings trapped and unable to escape a storm drain on Jail Lane.
The firefighters arrived at 4.32pm on July 28 and the incident was resolved by 5.20pm.
They quickly rescued the ducklings and reunited them with their mother, who was waiting nearby.
Pictures following the rescue show fire crews with the cute babies.
The rescue operation involved one fire engine and five firefighters from the Biggin Hill Fire Station.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Firefighters love animals too and we are ready, willing and able to assist distressed or injured animals – the last thing we want is for people to put themselves at risk rescuing an animal themselves.
“We do encourage people to call the RSPCA in the first instance and we will assist if our specialist equipment is required, as in this case.”
