11 London bus routes will be undergoing changes throughout the first weekend in July, with both temporary and new timetables.

TfL buses align with the Mayor’s Transport Strategy aiming for 80 per cent of journeys via foot, bike, or public transport by 2041.

There is currently a bus fleet of around 9,300 buses which follow across 675 different routes.

The latest timetable changes are in place to help “match demand, deliver value for money and allow TfL to invest in outer London”.

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday, July 6:

The temporary timetable on route 1 will be amended with no change to the frequency but more running time added to help improve reliability.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 65 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 7 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 11-12 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 71 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 8-9 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 12-13 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

Route 122 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 201 with the service returning to run every 15 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 20 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 30 minutes during the evening on all days of the week.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 207 with the service returning to run every 6 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 8 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Route 371 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route H14 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 16 minutes during the daytime on Sundays.

The temporary timetable will be in operation during the northbound closure of Headstone Road in Harrow.

Route K5 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route N65 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 166 extra buses on weekends added Mayfield Lavender Farm is now in full bloom and from Saturday 6 July there will be extra buses on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on the August bank holiday Monday, on route 166 between Purley Tesco and Banstead Town Centre.

The extra buses will be running each weekend until Monday 26 August.

Route 166 stops close to the entrance to Mayfield Lavender Farm, just board or alight your route 166 bus at the stops named Oaks Park.
