16 people have been arrested following a triple stabbing in Woolwich yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Thomas Street in Woolwich yesterday (May 31) at around 6:25pm.
Three males were found by police with stab injuries, they were taken to hospital.
Police have confirmed their conditions are not life-threatening.
16 people have now been arrested in connection with the stabbings and enquiries continue.
Additional officers have been deployed in the area after a Section 60 order was put in place until today (June 1) at 9:37am covering the SE18 postcode.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward calling 101 quoting the reference 5815/31may.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at around 1825hrs on Friday, 31 May, to a fight in Thomas Street, Woolwich.
“Officers attended the location and found three males suffering stab injuries.
“All have been taken to hospital; their conditions have been assessed as not life-threatening.
“Additional officers have been deployed to the area and a total of 16 people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries continue.
“A Section 60 is in place until 0937hrs on 1 June covering the SE18 postcode area.
“Any witnesses or anyone with footage that may assist police should call 101 and quote ref 5815/31may.
