A man in his 30s took himself to hospital after being stabbed near a school in Orpington.
Emergency services were called to Leesons Hill in St Paul’s Cray on Wednesday (March 27) at around 5:45am to reports of what is believed to be blood.
A crime scene was put in place.
Police later became aware of a man in his 30s who visited a south London hospital with a stab injury.
Officers have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening and are believed to have been sustained at Leesons Hill.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at about 5.45am on Wednesday, March 27 to reports of what is believed to be blood on Leesons Hill in St Paul's Cray. Officers attended and a crime scene was put in place.
"We became aware that a man in his 30s attended a south London hospital with a stab injury – his condition is not life threatening.
"Officers believe he sustained his injury at the scene in Leesons Hill.
"No arrests; enquiries continue."
