An investigation has been launched following reports of an armed robbery in Orpington.
Armed police were called to a shop in Windsor Drive this morning (Friday, March 22) just after 8.30am.
No arrests have been made so far and no injuries were reported.
Police ask that anyone with information that could help the investigation call 101 quoting CAD1644/22MAR24.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Friday 22 March at 08:39hrs, police were called to a retail property on Windsor Drive, Orpington following reports of an armed robbery.
“Officers attended the scene and carried out all relevant enquiries, an investigation has now been launched.
“At this early stage no arrests have been made.
“There were no reported injuries.
“If you have any information that may support police with their investigation, please call 101 stating CAD1644/22MAR24.”
