If there’s nothing your mum loves more than shopping and discounts, then Outlet Shopping at The O2 is the perfect place to either buy her a present or take her on the big day.
It’s located in Greenwich at the O2 Arena, and is surrounded by food, cafes, restaurants and activities which make it the ultimate destination for retail therapy.
Knowing what to buy that special mother figure can be hard, but Outlet Shopping at The O2 takes away all the difficulty for you with ideas galore and loads to choose from.
In fact, the harder part becomes what not to buy, rather than what to buy.
I went there to look for a gift for my mum and was overwhelmed with choice – with options from perfume to jewellery, shoes and bags, and kitchen accessories, gym wear and more.
Shops include Calvin Klein, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Next, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Clarins, The Fragrance Shop and more – and hopefully that helps you realise how hard it is to choose from.
My mum is really into cooking, so I first headed into Le Creuset where I literally fell into a dream land of colour, cooking, kitchens and discounts.
You know you’re getting old (or older) when that’s what excites you, and honestly I think I could have stayed there all day.
My favourites were the yellow (how cute!!!) egg cups which were on sale for just £5.50 each, and the heart dishes in red and pink which were still in stock from the stunning Valentine’s range.
I couldn’t resist a couple of egg cups and a pink heart dish, but I can’t promise I will be able to part with them to gift them for my mum…
The Cosmetics Company Store is another personal favourite where you can get gorgeous brands such as Jo Malone, Clinique, Tom Ford, Mac and Bobbi Brown for prices that you wouldn’t believe are true.
I got a tiny little handbag-sized lip balm for £8.75, a mascara, lip stick and lip balm set for £28 and an eye cream for £23.
My mum absolutely loves running (a gene I sadly missed out on) so I went in to Nike, Adidas and New Balance on the hunt for some bargains to kit out her gym wardrobe and help her to run in style.
It’s actually hard to believe the value for money, and how much you’d pay in comparison for the same products on the high street.
The best place for a Mother's Day card is Hallmark, and luckily enough there was a great and discounted selection there.
I couldn’t resist a sniff of all The Fragrance Shop perfumes, a search for some cute accessories in Claire’s and a drool at all the new trainers in Carvela.
You can probably tell it soon became a shopping trip about me, not my mum, but that’s the best part about Outlet Shopping at The O2 – there really is something for everyone.
