A person has been found dead in a car park near a shopping centre in Dartford.
The discovery was made in Lowfield Street near Priory Shopping Centre just after 11.30am today (February 20).
Officers, South East Coast Ambulance Service crews, and Kent Fire and Rescue were called to the scene.
Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
The person’s death is currently being treated as non-suspicious.
The full statement from Kent Police says: “Kent Police was called at 11.23am on Tuesday 20 February 2024, to report that a person had been found deceased in a car park near Lowfield Street, Dartford.
“Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
“The death is not currently being treated as suspicious."
A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance said: "Ambulance crews attended an incident near Priory Shopping Centre, Dartford, after being called shortly before 11.30am today."
A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: " We were called at 11.28am to assist Kent Police near Priory Marketplace, in Dartford. One fire engine attended."
