A search of the River Thames has been carried out by police after reports of a male in the water.
Emergency services were called to Wharf Street, Greenwich just before 9.45pm on January 20.
The search was carried out and no one was found in the water.
Police enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 21:43hrs on Saturday, 20 January to Wharf Street, SE8 to reports of a male having entered the River Thames.
“Police, London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade and HM Coastguard attended the scene and conducted a search for the male.
“At the current time, he has not been located.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
