A popular south east London restaurant has been named as one of the finalists to win at the British Kebab Awards.
The awards, in association with Just Eat, celebrate the best of local kebab takeaways and restaurants in the UK.
There are 20 award categories ranging from Best Greek Restaurant and Chef of the Year to Best Takeaway and Best Restaurant.
Topkapi Grill & Mezze in Bexleyheath was named as one of this year's finalists in the running for the Best Takeaway award in London at the British Kebab Awards 2024.
The restaurant is up against another south London restaurant - Olives and Meze in Clapham.
This year marks the 12th awards ceremony with 17 finalists named in south London across 10 categories with 8 of those finalists in south east London.
Topkapi Grill & Mezze in Bexleyheath opened its doors in 2020, five years after opening its first branch in Bromley.
Their menu serves a range of Turkish dishes including vegetarian and halal options.
The business has received 285 Google reviews with a 4.8-star average rating, with a number of reviews rating its lamb dishes, wraps and sauces.
The business currently also has a 4.5-star average rating on TripAdvisor, where it is ranked at number two for fast food restaurants in Bexleyheath and 24 of 74 for Turkish Restaurants in Bexleyheath.
