Traffic is being held in both directions on the M20 due to a crane lorry fire.
The fire broke out between Junction 1 for the M25 and Junction 2 for the A20 at around 1.45pm today (January 5).
Kent Fire and Rescue are in attendance and crews wearing breathing apparatus are working to extinguish the fire.
Traffic has temporarily stopped on the #M20 in both directions between J1 (#M25) and J2 (#A20) due to a vehicle fire. @kentfirerescue remain working at scene.

National Highways confirmed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that there are delays of up to 30 minutes.
No injuries have been reported.

A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "We are responding to a fire involving a crane lorry on the M20 coastbound, between Junction 1 for the Swanley Interchange and Junction 2 for Wrotham.
"Three fire engines are in attendance and crews wearing breathing apparatus are working to extinguish the fire.
"No injuries have been reported.
"Drivers are advised to check for traffic updates before travelling towards the affected area."
