A nursery in Bexleyheath has celebrated its second anniversary, as it continues to flourish after a 'good' Ofsted rating last year.
The Croft Nursery received its 'good' rating following an Ofsted inspection in October 2022 and now celebrates two years of serving the children of Bexleyheath.
Marking its milestone, the nursery hosted a party uniting staff and children alike.
The celebratory event also witnessed special guests from the local fire brigade and an alpaca farm, strengthening the nursery's bond with the local community.
During the inspection last year, Ofsted highlighted the nursery's adeptness in facilitating children's development.
The nursery was praised especially for nurturing language skills in children through playful exercises.
The emphasis on introducing new vocabulary was commended by inspectors, demonstrating the nursery's focus on holistic development.
Ofsted also mentioned that the nursery provides an excellent learning space, well-equipped and conducive for children's growth.
The report also applauded the establishment's high expectations for exemplary behaviour in children.
For Croft Nursery, the cherry on top has been the significant praise received from parents.
On the review platform daynurseries.co.uk, the nursery has scored an impressive 9.9 overall rating, with a nod to the warmth, attentiveness and dedication of the staff.
The nursery also won a perfect 10 out of 10 from one parent, offering a wholehearted recommendation.
Alongside its day-to-day operations, the nursery has also broadened the children's horizons by introducing free extracurricular activities.
These include French lessons, music and movement sessions, PE conducted by a qualified teacher, engaging cooking lessons, and Nature School activities.
Nursery manager Annabel Pincott-Brown said: "The Croft holds a special place in my heart.
"Our team is dedicated to providing wonderful learning experiences for the children each day.
"We take pride in serving Bexleyheath families and are grateful that Ofsted recognised everyone's hard work in our report last year."
