A teenager has been taken to hospital after he was injured in a crash in Orpington.
Police were called at 11.20am today (December 28) to reports of a moped rider injured on Chipperfield Road.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.
The rider, a male believed aged 17, was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police await an update on his condition.
Enquiries into the circumstances, including to establish whether any other vehicles were involved, are ongoing.
Road closures remain in place.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 11:20hrs on Thursday, 28 December to reports of a moped rider injured in Chipperfield Road, Orpington.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. The rider, a male believed aged 17, was taken to hospital for treatment – condition awaits.
“Enquiries into the circumstances, including to establish whether any other vehicles were involved, are ongoing. Road closures remain in place.
