A burglar who smashed a church window during a break-in has appeared in court.
Darren Nigel Morris, 51, appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on November 15.
The court heard that on October 16 he attempted to break into Bexley Baptist Chapel.
Morris, of Greenock Road in Streatham, pleaded guilty to burglary with intent to commit damage and criminal damage to property over £5,000.
The case was sent to Woolwich Crown Court for sentencing on a date in December.
He will be held in custody until he is sentenced.
