Coronation Street fans are set to see a new face arrive on the cobbles as Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) comedian Jack Carroll joins the cast.

Jack reportedly began filming on the soap this week and will turn up on Corrie “out of the blue” giving Carla quite the shock as she finds out about her new family member just after Christmas.

Bobby's dad Rob is currently in prison, serving a life sentence for the murder of Tina McIntyre who was played by Michelle Keegan.
He only recently found out he has a son but hasn’t told his sister Carla about him.

Speaking about his Weatherfield debut on X (formerly Twitter), Jack said: “I'm delighted and honoured to be playing a part in the history of the cultural institution that is Coronation Street.
