We have rounded up the latest timetable changes to bus routes across London this weekend.
TfL buses are “guided” by the Mayor’s Transport Strategy and its target that 80 per cent of all journeys will be made on foot, by bike or public transport by 2041.
There is currently a bus fleet of around 9,300 buses which follow across 675 different routes.
The latest timetable changes are in place to help “match demand, deliver value for money and allow TfL to invest in outer London”.
The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday (October 21):
A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 261 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, to every 16 minutes during the daytime on Sundays and every 21 minutes during the evening on all days of the week.
This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during water main works on Westhorne Avenue and Baring Road.
A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 273 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 21 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 31 minutes during evening and all day on Sundays.
This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during water main works on Westhorne Avenue and Baring Road.
A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 419 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 13 minutes during the AM & PM peak on Monday to Fridays and to every 14 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays. No change during the evening or on Sundays.
This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during major works at Manor Circus roundabout.
