Police have found a vehicle on fire in Bexley in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).
Officers were driving along Penhill Road at 4.37am today (October 19) when they came across a vehicle that was on fire.
Police called the London Fire Brigade who helped to put the fire out.
There have been no arrests at this stage.
Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “At around 04:37hrs on Thursday 19 October, officers were driving along Penhill Road, Bexley when they came across a vehicle that was on fire.
“Officers called the London Fire Brigade (LFB) who assisted by putting the fire out.
“At this early stage there have been no arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
