A new Halloween ghost stories experience is launching at the Up at the O2 Experience in Greenwich.
For two days, on October 30 and October 31, the O2 is giving Londoners a chance to hear the city’s most darkest stories from 52 metres above the city, with views of some of its most famous landmarks by night.
Guests will learn some of London’s most chilling stories, from the harrowing killings of Jack the Ripper to the history behind some of the most haunted cemeteries.
The experience will begin with a climb to the top of the O2, where climbers will be able to see a 360-degree view of London, spotting sights like Greenwich, Canary Wharf and the Olympic Park.
This will be followed with a guide telling some of London’s most chilling and mystifying ghost stories.
Tours take place on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 at 7pm and 7:45pm.
Tickets cost £40 per person with climbers as young as eight able to join in.
Dan Hurst, Head of Attractions at Up at The O2 said: “Climbers should prepare themselves for a fright of new heights this season. Here at Up at The O2, we’re thrilled (and petrified) to launch Ghost Stories and give thrill-seekers the opportunity to take their fears sky-high in a way that none of the 1million brave souls who have climbed before will have experienced.
“Make sure to book your spot quickly, we’re sure this is going to be a hit amongst humans… and ghosts alike.”
