A fire involving five cars at a commercial premises caused heavy smoke in Dartford last night.
Fire crews were called to Princes Road at 9.43pm on June 6 along with four fire engines and a bulk water carrier.
Firefighters with breathing apparatus worked to extinguish the electrical vehicle fires.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
People living nearby were advised to close windows and doors by the fire brigade.
At around 11.20pm, three fire engines remained at the scene, where used hose reel jets and main jets to dampen down any remaining hot spots.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called by Kent Fire and Rescue Service at 10.12pm on Tuesday 7 June 2023 to be notified they were attending a fire in Princes Road, Dartford, where five electrical vehicles were alight.
"The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Enquiries are ongoing."

“People living near to Princes Road in Dartford are no longer advised to close windows and doors following a fire involving multiple vehicles at a commercial premises.
“Three fire engines remain in attendance at the scene, where crews wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets and main jets to dampen down any remaining hot spots.
“No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not yet known.
“Initial update: “People living near to Princes Road in Dartford are advised to close windows and doors due to smoke coming from a fire at a commercial premises.
“Four fire engines and a bulk water carrier are at the scene, where firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are working to extinguish a fire involving at least five vehicles.
