London offers a wide variety of accents, from the classic cockney to the well-spoken Queen's English.
With so many on offer, you might wonder what is considered to be the most charming.
But now there's no need to debate, as new research has revealed that all Londoners are considered to have the most attractive accent in the UK.
It comes as language learning platform Preply reveals they interviewed 2,000 UK adults asking them their thoughts.
Londoners have the most attractive accent in the UK
The capital earned the top spot with Brits thinking it is the most romantic, with almost one-in-five people agreeing.
It comes as 20.83% of women and 14.89% of men agree that the London accent should take the top spot.
Meanwhile, Liverpool was named the second-best, with 10.97% of males and 9.53% of females agreeing.
But although London is said to be the most attractive, it is also among the most untrustworthy.
As 14.17% share that they think London is the second most untrustworthy with Scousers at the top of the list.
Although Londoners are deemed as untrustworthy, they are said to be the most intelligent.
As London was voted the smartest UK accent at 29.62%, Manchester placed second for being the most intelligent-sounding at 6.91%.
