DRAMATIC footage shows a tipper van erupting into flames on a busy road in Woolwich.
The fire broke out in Shooters Hill Road shortly after 7.15am today (June 24).
The footage, taken by a passerby, shows bright orange flames engulfing the vehicle, with clouds of black smoke also billowing from the van.
London Fire Brigade attended.
The fire was under control shortly after 8.30am.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: “Firefighters were called at 0716 to a van fire on Shooters Hill Road.
“The whole of a waste tipper van was damaged by fire.
“The incident was over by 0831.
