A NIGHTCLUB has collected its glasses for the last time.
Jazzmins Music and Dance Bar, Elmfield Road, Bromley, has gone "glass free" to help combat violent crime.
All drinks are now served in plastic glasses made from polycarbonates rather than real glass.
The move is part of a campaign by Bromley police and Bromley Council to encourage other pubs, clubs and bars in the borough to do the same.
Polycarbonates containers are unbreakable and do not shatter.
Bromley police licensing officer PC Andy Waddington said: "I am particularly pleased with the part Jazzmins is playing in this.
"Not only are they actively promoting the crime and disorder and public safety objectives, but they are clearly doing their part in making Bromley safer."
