Diners enjoying a meal outside restaurants in Eden Park were disrupted by an ugly looking car fire.
The vehicle reportedly burst into flames on Upper Elmers End Road on Thursday evening (April 22).
One witness said the car just caught fire and caused disruption to traffic, residents and diners eating outside several restaurants on the Beckenham road, including a Toby Caver and Baturello.
Some dramatic pictures of the scene were also captured.
The London Fire Brigade attended, and their spokesperson said: "Firefighters were called to a car alight on Upper Elmers End Road in Beckenham on Thursday.
"The Brigade’s 999 Control Officers took 11 calls to the blaze.
"The Brigade was called at 1945 and the fire was under control by 2003. One fire engine from Beckenham Fire Station attended the scene."
