Around 400 homes in Orpington were left without power this morning after fire broke out at an electrical substation.
Fire services were called to Andover Road shortly after 2.30am, where a transformer, which transfers electrical energy from one circuit to another, was ablaze.
Two engines and around 10 firefighters brought the incident under control by 4.15am.
There were no reports of injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
