Emergency services are currently on the scene to clear the road due to a car fire being dealt with by the fire brigade.
From Blackwall Lane to East India Dock Road, traffic is currently at a standstill.
You are advised to find an alternative route if travelling this way this afternoon.
It will take a while for emergency services to clear the road of debris from the car fire.
