A sink hole has emerged in Bexley.
It is believed that a duct leaking water caused the collapse in Dartford Road at the junction of St Mary's Road.
A spokeswoman for the council said: "Overnight there was a reported water leak and Thames Water are currently in attendance.

"There are two way lights in operation on Dartford Road, Bexley which is causing disruption to traffic.
"There is also a nearby void under the carriageway the cause of which is unknown at this time.
"This is currently being investigated by both the council and Thames Water.
"The council will be seeking assurances from Thames Water about the maintenance and integrity of sewers in the borough as incidents like these cause worry and inconvenience to residents."
A second sink hole emerged in Main Road, Sidcup, last week after a sewer collapsed.
Residents in Woodside Road endured 36 hours of human waste pouring out of two manholes as a result of the faulty sewer pipes.
