The hallowed Nando’s chicken was spotted out and about in Catford to the delight of residents.
Causing quite a stir among passers-by, the caricature chicken - symbolising the popular fast food chain Nando’s – took a stroll about town.
The character was snapped taking a breather and resting his delicious legs along the South Circular Road, opposite the post office yesterday afternoon (October 28).
MORE TOP STORIES Twitter user @OriginalLornsz tweeted the photo saying: “Saw the Nando’s chicken, sitting down having a break in Catford.”
Others took great delight in seeing the chicken out and about, tweeting photos.
One man, Martin Bentley, posted a picture on Instagram describing the feathered friend as a ‘hero’.
