A 53-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Sidcup this morning (April 10).
The incident happened in Elm Parade, at the junction with Station Road, shortly after 8am.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and the man was treated for leg and pelvic injuries before being taken by ambulance to Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill.
His injuries are said to be serious but not life-threatening.
Geoff Vickery, manager of nearby The Bed Post, told News Shopper: "I got here at 8.20 this morning and the man was lying on the ground.
"People from the ambulance crew were stood around him.
"His hands were moving so I assumed he was OK."

Sidcup High Street was closed both ways following the incident.
There was congestion along Station Road to Hurst Road, while Elm Road was also affected both ways.
Buses 160, 229, 269, 286, B14 and R11 were all on diversion.
A police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that police were called at 8.12am to reports of a road traffic collision in Sidcup.
"The collision took place on Elm Parade and it involved a car and a pedestrian.
"The pedestrian, believed to be in his fifties, has been taken to hospital."
