It takes a lot to prepare for a festival and by the looks of it even the stars have to muck in.
Madness put on their Baggy Trousers, packed up their mowers and headed over to Blackheath last weekend to help get the common ready for OnBlackheath in September.
Suggs and the gang will headline the festival’s Sunday – their only London show this year - with Kelis and Laura Mvula also on the bill.
The Saturday features Elbow, Manic Street Preachers and Anna Calvi. On both days there will be a food village, street food and a chef’s club, as well as family entertainment. Adult weekend tickets cost £89. Go to onblackheath.com
