Police have raided the New Cross sex cinema this afternoon, finding 10 people inside and quizzing the venue's manager.
Last week, News Shopper exposed the old printing shop on New Cross Road as an unlicensed venue showing hardcore pornography where eager punters paid £15 a time to watch explict films and have sex with one another in the auditorium.
When we visited, a host of men were seen pleasuring themselves while three other customers had sex in front of them.
Lewisham Council - which had previously said it was unaware of any such venue - has not replied to requests for a comment on the revelations.
But Lewisham police raided the seedy cinema today (February 19) at 1.30pm. A spokesman said they had found 10 people inside the building, although it is not known what they were doing at the time officers arrived.

Sergeant Mark Alger from New Cross SNT said the people - all "middle-aged males" - had been ejected from the premises.
A spokesman for Lewisham police said no arrests had been made but investigations were ongoing.
Police Sergeant Matt McGrath from the licensing team said: "Lewisham Police will continue working with the council to identify premises where unauthorised licensable actives are taking place."
