Legendary rockers The Who will play British Summer Time at Hyde Park festival next year.
The band, celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2015, are the second headliner announced after pop princess Taylor Swift.
Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey’s band will headline on Friday, June 26, with Paul Weller, the Kaiser Chiefs and Johnny Marr making up a stellar bill.
On playing Hyde Park, The Who guitarist Pete Townshend said “It’s a good gig. You draw from all over the country but a London crowd is always a good crowd.”
He added: “It's a Royal Park so thank you your majesty, you can’t play it without her permission.”
