Mayor of London Boris Johnson will be visiting Erith to officially open Bexley College’s new campus.
On October 7 Mr Johnson is to unveil a ceremonial plaque at the £20 million facility in Walnut Tree Road, which will provide education and training for 3,000 students.
The purpose-built site will offer vocational courses for school leavers and adults.
It boasts ICT suites, a media studio, a learning resource centre, a fully-equipped gym and refectory as well as a coffee shop and a hairdressing and beauty therapy salon which will be open for public use.
Mr Johnson’s visit is scheduled for 11am.
