People in north Kent are being urged to volunteer their skills for a new dementia support group.
The Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley areas have created a scheme, Dementia Friendly Communities, for people with the early stages of the disease.
Organisers are hosting an event on May 21, DGS Dementia Adventure, which will run from 10am to 3pm at the Gravesend Rugby Football club in Donald Biggs Drive.
it is designed to encourage networking, understanding, and information sharing as well as focusing on fun activities.
The group is calling on people to help out in any way they can.
