THE GRAVESEND director of two of the Bourne films and recent blockbuster Captain Phillips is heading home for an intimate audience.
Oscar nominated director Paul Greengrass, who went to Westcourt Primary School and Gravesend Grammar, will appear at An Evening with Paul Greengrass and a screening of his latest Tom Hanks-starring feature at the cinema named after him in Woodville Halls on March 25.
There will be the opportunity to ask the director about his career, which began as a director of TV journalism, incorporated the co-writing of the notorious Spycatcher book with former assistant director of MI5 Peter Wright, and a best director Bafta for United 93.
Captain Phillips, which will be shown on the night, has already picked up a Bafta and is nominated for six Academy awards.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10.
