THE Priory Shopping Centre in Dartford has gone into receivership.
Jones Lang LaSalle has confirmed to the News Shopper that on December 19 last year, the company was appointed to take over the centre.
Jemma McAndrew, director and one of the appointed receivers at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: "For many of the retailers within the centre Christmas trading has been positive and it is very much business as usual for the Priory Centre."
Recievership is similar to administration which means accountants have been called in to try to sort out the company's assetts.
The centre in Lowfield Street includes Sainsburys, Wilkinson, the 99p store and Poundland.
