THERE’S no need to be a shepherd or watch flocks by night to find sheep in Bromley this Christmas.
Many years after sheep were driven through the High Street to the weekly market the woolly creatures are back for the festive season.
But this year they are made of wool, and hidden in 12 shops.
Leaflets in the stores tell you where the sheep are hidden so you can learn about the Christmas story and follow the trail before entering a prize draw.
The trail is organised by St Mary’s Church, College Road, Bromley, in partnership with Bromley Council and Bromley Town Centre Chaplaincy.
Bromley Council’s portfolio holder for renewal and recreation Councillor Peter Morgan said: “Sheep are a central part of the Christmas story as is the whole idea of present giving.
“With the sheep trail, our festive lights and entertainment, there is so much in Bromley for the whole family to enjoy while doing Christmas shopping.”
