Travellers settle in Dartford park
TRAVELLERS set up camp in a Dartford park last night.
The group pitched up in Hesketh Park – home to Dartford Cricket Club.
Police were called at 9pm yesterday after five caravans were spotted on the field.
The travellers were served with an eviction notice from land owners Dartford Council and have today moved on.
It comes less than a week after a group of travellers settled in Bexley Village.
