A FUNDRAISING thriller has raised £935 for a sick Eltham youngster.
The family of two-year-old Winnie Martin, who has Leukaemia and Down's syndrome, are raising money to send her to Disneyland.
Supporter Claire Cole, aged 30, of Eastcombe Avenue, Charlton, held a fun-filled party at the Turning Pages Community Centre in Eltham.
Around 150 people, including Winnie herself, turned up for the event, with an auction and performances from African drummers and top Michael Jackson impersonator Bad Ben Jackson.
She said: "It was really good and the rain didn't put people off.
"With all the other things we've done we've now raised £2,455 in cash for Winnie."
She added: "Please show your support, like Winnie's page on facebook, donate online and keep an eye out for up coming events to help Winnie and her family make Winnie's life as happy and eventful as possible.
"The end goal is to get her to Disney Florida and making the Martin family home Winnie-friendly with all the adaptions she will need in the near future."
