A MAN has been taken to hospital with leg injuries after his motorbike crashed into the central reservation in Bexleyheath this morning.
Albion Road was closed approaching Broadway for two hours following the incident, which happened just before 6am.
It was shut between Erith Road and Highland Road while emergency services attended but re-opened shortly after 8am.
The rider of the Suzuki motorbike was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital but his injuries are neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
London Ambulance Service, who sent one ambulance to the scene, say the man was not taken to hospital as a priority.
Eyewitness reports suggest the incident happened close to the civic centre.
Motorists are still facing long delays in the area, with congestion on Erith Road back as far as Long Lane and approaching Broadway.
Bus routes 96, 132, 229 492 and B12, which were on diversion, are now running on their normal routes.
