PASSENGERS faced more than just delays after reports of a man touching himself on a train between Gillingham and London Charing Cross this afternoon.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to Kidbrooke rail station at 1.51pm and arrested a man in connection with an alleged offence of outraging public decency.
Southeastern had earlier tweeted: “Delays of 10 minutes between Bexleyheath and Lewisham until further notice because of an emergency services incident at #Kidbrooke.”
A BTP spokesman said: “BTP officers attended Kidbrooke rail station on Monday, March 3 after a report of a man touching himself on a train between Gillingham and London Charing Cross.
“One man was arrested for an offence of outraging public decency in connection with the incident, which was reported to BTP at 1.51pm, and is currently in custody.”
