A 49-YEAR-OLD man who died after being found unconscious in Charlton Park has been formally identified.
Anthony Hoare, of Charlton, was discovered by ambulance crews at around 6pm on September 11.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, in a critical condition but was declared dead at 6.45pm.
Lesley Paul Kingshott, of Victoria Road, Charlton, has been charged with his manslaughter and is set to face crown court.
Kingshott was remanded in custody on Thursday (September 13) after his appearance at Woolwich Magistrates' Court.
He will appear at the Old Bailey on December 20.
- Two other men, both aged 22, were also arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed to return to a south London police station in mid-October.
