Drivers in and around Bromley will be affected by five road closures during early May – here is all you need to know.

Two of the National Highways road closures are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures are due to start over the next two weeks.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in the schedule.

Here is the full list of closures in Bromley:

A20, from 11pm May 3 to 5.30am May 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A20 westbound, Swanley Interchange to Crittall's Corner, Lane and slip road closure for sign installation, diversion via local authority network.

A20, from 10pm May 6 to 5am May 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A20 eastbound, Crittall's Corner to Swanley Interchange, Lane closures for routine maintenance.

A20, from 10pm May 9 to 5am May 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A20 westbound, Swanley Interchange to Crittall's Corner, Lane and slip road closure for routine maintenance, diversion via local authority network.

A20, from 11pm May 10 to 5am May 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A20 westbound, M25, junction 3 to junction Maidstone road, Lane closures for maintenance works.
